Role Profile
The main responsibilities of this role will be assisting in Indirect tax compliances. This role is required to ensure all information is provided timely, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure timely tax payments and all other tax filing compliances
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will have ownership for:

Work as part of the Indirect tax team assisting and providing information for timely VAT filings.

Work closely in a team to carry out daily activities of analysing data for multiple tax-related calculations and accurate VAT returns.

Coordinating with tax consultants and service owners on tax compliance.

Collaboration with upstream and downstream functions.

Maintain Indirect tax controls to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the process.

Expertise on preparation of Tax Balance sheet reconciliations.

Assisting with the preparation and posting of tax journals.

Supporting for various reports and request from the internal business team.

Ability to handle Tax queries from Tax authorities efficiently.

Coordinating for Tax audits and statutory audits.

Connect with Tax authorities on the various issues and resolve in timely manner
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
-
A high degree of organization and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
-
Possessing a Finance/Accounting/commerce/ degree or professional qualification (CA/CIMA/ACCA) at the intermediary level.

Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in overseas tax compliance work or support services will be an added advantage. Experience in audit/tax/finance is desirable

Good accounting knowledge with analytical and problem-solving skills including approach of thinking end to end.

Hands on experience in SAP/Oracle.

Proficiency in MS Office Applications

Experience on OneSource will be added advantage.

Possess excellent communication skills (both written and spoken).
