Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Industrial CDL B Roll-Off Driver and take charge of safely transporting and managing waste containers and roll-off bins across various industrial sites. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of heavy-duty trucks such as roll-off, front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport waste containers and materials.
- Load and unload containers using manual lifting techniques or mechanical equipment like front loaders or roll-off hoists.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Load, secure, and unload materials accurately while adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage.
- Drive efficiently through industrial sites, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, pickups, vehicle maintenance, and operational activities.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks including dump trucks, flatbeds, tractor-trailers, and specialized roll-off equipment.
- Proven experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
- Skilled in driving heavy vehicles safely over long distances or within industrial environments.
- Ability to load & unload materials efficiently using mechanical aids or manual effort with heavy lifting skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy truck operation and waste management practices.
- Excellent driving record with experience in delivery driver roles involving load & unload responsibilities.
