Industrial Electrical Technician

Steves & Sons maintenance technicians are responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery equipment located throughout the plant, and ensures optimal functionality through preventive maintenance practices and corrective troubleshooting.

Maintenance Team Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production and facility equipment.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings.
• Install equipment and machinery.
• Run energy sources.
• Implementation of PM procedures.
• Utilize Computer Maintenance Management System Program
• Safely perform physical demands as indicated above.
• Perform these and other duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel.
• Must be flexible and able to work long hours, sometimes at short notice

• 3 years of experience working in an industrial environment
• Troubleshooting

• Mechanical Aptitude/ Power Transmission
• Electrical Systems Knowledge/ Motor Controls- Low and High Voltages
• Welding/ Fabrication
• Fluid Power/ Hydraulics
• Compressed Air Systems/ Pneumatic Power
• Pipe Fitting/Plumbing
• Controls and Automation/ Allen Bradley/ Automation Direct
• Electronics- Low Voltage AC/DC Components/ Encoders/ TTL
• Computer Numeric Counters- Thermwood/ Standard
• Various Hand Tools- Mechanical/ Electrical/ Carpentry
