Industrial Electrician - Manufacturing

Reporting To: Maintenance Supervisor / Electrical Engineer

Job Purpose

To install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment across the plant, ensuring smooth and safe operations of production lines at Al Ain Mills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, panels, and machinery
• Diagnose electrical faults in motors, control panels, PLC systems, and production equipment
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and minimize downtime in plant operations
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Install and maintain lighting systems, cable trays, and distribution boards
• Work on MCC panels, VFDs, and motor control systems
• Coordinate with mechanical and production teams for breakdown maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations
• Maintain logs of maintenance activities and report recurring issues
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG or flour mills)
• Hands-on experience with:
• Motors, VFDs, PLC troubleshooting
• Industrial panels and control systems
• Knowledge of safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
