Industrial Engineering Manager /Senior Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Industrial Engineering Senior Manager to lead and manage our Maintenance Department and Industrial Engineering Department , both operating with independent responsibilities. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to integrate maintenance excellence with industrial engineering, process improvement, and manufacturing project execution.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in both maintenance operations and industrial engineering , with a strong preference for candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background .

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Management

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Ensure high equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage maintenance strategies, KPIs, and departmental budgets.
• Lead root cause analyses (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
• Oversee spare parts management, maintenance planning, and external service providers.

Industrial Engineering & Manufacturing Projects

• Lead industrial engineering activities such as time studies, work measurement, line balancing, capacity planning, and process optimization.
• Manage new production line setup, expansion, and commissioning projects , from concept to start-up.
• Lead and coordinate production line transfer and relocation projects , ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Develop and optimize layouts, material flows, and manpower planning for new and transferred lines.
• Drive productivity improvement, efficiency increase, and cost reduction initiatives across operations.
• Define and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with production and quality teams.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Lead and align two distinct departments under a common operational vision.
• Coach, develop, and performance-manage supervisors, engineers, and technicians.
• Ensure close collaboration between maintenance, production, quality, engineering, and supply chain functions.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Strategic & Operational Support

• Play an active role in investment decisions related to machinery, automation, and manufacturing systems.
• Support equipment installation, relocation, commissioning, and ramp-up activities.
• Prepare and present performance reports, dashboards, and improvement roadmaps to senior management.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Industrial Engineering , or a related engineering discipline.
• Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance management and industrial engineering , including new line installations and line transfer projects .
• Proven experience managing cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies and systems (preventive & predictive maintenance).
• Solid expertise in industrial engineering tools and methodologies.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, TPM and operational excellence initiatives.
• Proficiency with CMMS, ERP, and project management tools.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in fast-paced environments.
