Summary

Leads, directs, and coordinates the operations of a group within an operations department. Ensures and improves the safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and positive employee relations using the principles of TPS, and other strategies outlined by the company and division directives.

What You'll do:

  • Follows safety guidelines

  • Ensures all monthly safety KPIs are completed

  • Ensures all rules involving safety and operations are enforced

  • Cleans work area according to 5S standards

  • Ensure employees are trained and compliant

  • Requisition of waste containers

  • Assists in the coordination of shipping activities

  • Signs waste manifests on behalf of customers

  • Assists in receiving and shipping of waste containers

  • Assists in preparation of the monthly waste reports

  • Communicates problems to management

  • Create and maintain operational procedures/instructions and other documentation.

  • Conduct team meetings and training

  • Responsible for timecard approval and processing time-off requests

  • Other duties may be assigned, some travel may be required

What You Need:

High school diploma and six months of related experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment and leading a team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises employees in Waste Management related activities. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

SHIFT TIME

2nd Shift, 4:45 PM to 1:30 AM

PAY:

$25.72/hr
