Job Purpose:
To establish, lead and manage a new engineering laboratory, prototype manufacturing facility, and future full-scale production factory for advanced military technologies. This is a greenfield role requiring the creation of manufacturing capability from the ground up, while anticipating future, undefined technological and production needs.
The role demands strong industrialization experience, hands-on engineering expertise, and the ability to operate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Facility Planning & Industrialization

Design and develop layouts for the engineering lab, prototype workshop, and production factory.

Define manufacturing workflows, equipment requirements, tooling, and industrialization processes.

Oversee procurement, installation, commissioning, and readiness of all manufacturing infrastructure
2- Prototype & Production Readiness

Establish prototype build, testing, and validation processes for new military technologies.

Transition engineering designs into scalable, manufacturable products using Design for Manufacturing (DfM) principles.

Develop manufacturing capability roadmaps from prototype through full-rate production.
3- Operations Management
• Lead and manage operational activities within all established facilities.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Ensure full compliance with defense, safety, environmental, and secure-manufacturing regulations.
4- Team Leadership
• Recruit and develop technical and operations staff to support manufacturing growth.
• Establish long-term capability and staffing plans aligned with future programs and technologies.
• Provide strong technical leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional coordination.
5- Quality, Safety & Compliance

Implement and maintain quality systems suitable for defense-grade manufacturing (ISO/AS standards).

Maintain strict compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and defense regulatory requirements.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in diversified modern military manufacturing technologies.

Proven experience in planning, setup, and management of advanced manufacturing facilities.

Experience in industrialization, precision manufacturing, and compliance driven production environments.

Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, production planning, and quality systems.

Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.

Demonstrated success in building or scaling manufacturing facilities in high-complexity, high-precision industries.
