Industry Instructor 4.0 L

Ashley Furniture is seeking an experienced and passionate Industry Instructor 4.0 L to join our team. This role is designed for an individual committed to modern manufacturing, industrial innovation, and workforce development, focusing on the latest Industry 4.0 technologies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs on Industry 4.0 concepts, including automation, robotics, IoT, data analytics, digital manufacturing, and smart factory operations
• Tailor curriculum for a diverse workforce, ranging from entry-level team members to advanced technical staff
• Stay current with advancements in manufacturing technology, integrating best practices and emerging trends based on operational needs
• Facilitate hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and simulations using state-of-the-art equipment and software
• Assess learning outcomes and provide feedback to help team members continually grow their digital and operational skills
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, production, and HR teams to align training objectives with strategic business goals
• Maintain detailed training documentation and reports for compliance and improvement initiatives
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout Ashley Furniture's manufacturing network

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Education, or closely related field (Master’s preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, instructional design, or adult education
• Hands-on knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, such as PLCs, ERP systems, MES platforms, and smart sensors
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to customize learning material for various skill levels and departments
• Certification in training or instructional facilitation preferred
• Problem-solving mindset, with effective organizational and documentation abilities
