Infant Assistant Teacher

1 Supervision and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of infants at all times. This includes monitoring their activities, ensuring a safe environment, and being aware of potential hazards.

2 Supporting Development: Assist in implementing developmental activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth. This may include playing with infants, reading to them, and engaging them in age-appropriate activities.

3 Routine Care: Help with daily care routines, including feeding, diaper changes, and nap time. This also involves maintaining hygiene and cleanliness.

4 Observation and Reporting: Observe infants’ behaviors and developmental milestones. Document any significant changes or concerns and communicate them to lead teachers or caregivers.

5 Creating a Nurturing Environment: Help create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.

6 Collaboration: Work closely with lead teachers and other staff to plan and implement curriculum and activities. This includes assisting in lessons and group activities.

7 Communication with Parents: Occasionally interact with parents or guardians, providing updates on their child’s progress and any relevant information regarding their care.

8 Professional Development: Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in training or workshops to improve skills and knowledge.

9 Behavior Management: Support infants’ social development by helping them learn to interact with peers, understand boundaries, and express their feelings appropriately.

10 Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of daily activities, feeding schedules, and developmental assessments.
