Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum development tailored to infants’ developmental stages.
- Support daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, literacy education, and physical education exercises designed for toddlers.
- Engage with children through play-based learning, fostering social-emotional growth and behavioral management.
- Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety standards and promotes effective classroom management.
- Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design and learning technology integration to enhance educational experiences.
- Monitor individual progress and provide feedback to teachers on each child's growth in areas such as language skills, motor development, and cognitive abilities.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's development, behavior, and classroom activities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or toddler care settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and Montessori or similar pedagogies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and learning technology tools such as LMS (Learning Management Systems).
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with children and families.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior through positive conflict management strategies.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
