Infant Lead Teacher (Full-time)

Title: Full Time Infant Lead Teacher
Reports To: Director of Daycare
Job Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Location: Ripon, WI
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Position: The Infant Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months. This role supports each child's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth while maintaining strong communication with families and co-teachers.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure constant supervision of infants in a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in compliance with state licensing standards
• Plan and implement daily activities that promote sensory exploration, fine and gross motor skill development, language acquisition, and social-emotional growth
• Provide responsive, individualized care including feeding, diapering, comforting, and sleep routines according to each child's needs and family preferences
• Observe, document, and assess each child's development; communicate progress and/or concerns to child's parents and Director of Childcare
• Build positive and trusting relationships with families
• Follow all state licensing regulations, health and safety practices, and center procedures
• Work collaboratively with co-teachers

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Introduction to Child Care Profession class
• Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher class
• Fundamentals of the Infant and Toddler class

Skills:

• Proven experience as a teacher
• Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-organized and committed
• Creative and energetic
• Strong moral values and discipline
• CPR and First-Aid Certified (required, but willing to train)
• Must pass background check and drug screen

Schedule: Day Shift - Monday through Friday
