Lead Teachers – Little Bear Learning Center-Infant Classroom

This position is for our waterford location.

At Little Bear Learning Center, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. We’re looking for a Lead Teacher who bring patience, creativity, and heart into the classroom and enjoy building strong relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys leading a classroom while still staying hands-on and connected to children’s daily experiences.

What You’ll Do Each Day

• Create a warm, nurturing classroom where children feel confident and cared for
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning through play
• Guide classroom routines with consistency and flexibility
• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate openly
• Collaborate with assistants and leadership to create a strong classroom team

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in an early childhood setting
• A calm, positive, and patient teaching style
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Ability to meet state licensing requirements for a Lead Teacher

(We welcome educators who are continuing their education or growing in their careers.)
