Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote infant development across motor skills, language acquisition, and social interaction.
- Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring overall safety at all times.
- Observe and document each infant’s progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform personalized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates on their child's progress and needs.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive caregiving practices.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants in daycare, preschool settings, or as a nanny or babysitter is highly valued.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to nurture positive behavior management strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as feeding, diapering, and maintaining hygiene standards for infants.
