Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal will be to support each child's developmental milestones through engaging activities, attentive caregiving, and effective classroom management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while fostering their growth and curiosity from the earliest stages. The positions working hours are 8:30am-6:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development for infants.
  • Provide attentive caregiving by meeting basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and comforting infants with patience and compassion.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are sanitized and organized.
  • Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones to inform personalized care strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's daily activities, achievements, and any concerns.
  • Support positive behavior management techniques that encourage independence and social skills among infants.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to early childhood education and infant care.
  • Hands-on classroom experience managing young children in a structured environment.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a nurturing approach to caregiving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
