Sparkle Montessori is seeking a dedicated and compassionate for our Infant/Toddler classroom. Qualifications & Requirements
- 12 ECE Units (Early Childhood Education) — mandatory
- Fingerprint clearance, TB test, CPR certification, and Health Screening required prior to employment
- Genuine love for infants and toddlers, with patience and attentiveness to their individual needs. The right attitude, passion, and willingness to learn are what matter most!
Responsibilities
- Lead an assigned group of infants/toddlers using Montessori principles and best practices to create a calm, engaging, and responsive classroom.
- Support each child’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development, nurturing independence, trust, and confidence.
- Observe and interpret each child’s cues, temperament, abilities, and cultural background to provide individualized care.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and sensory-rich learning experiences.
- Prepare engaging Montessori materials that encourage hands-on exploration and meaningful play.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes active learning and discovery.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, observations, developmental progress, and individual service plans.
- Ensure all child health documentation (immunizations, physical exams, etc.) is up to date and compliant with CDSS regulations.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional support to assistant teachers, modeling Montessori teaching strategies and positive classroom management.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture where teachers, children, and families feel respected and valued.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
