Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal will be to support each child's developmental milestones through engaging activities, attentive caregiving, and effective classroom management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while fostering their growth and curiosity from the very beginning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive care and supervision to infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in infants
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
  • Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones regularly
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to share updates on their child's growth and address any concerns or special needs
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
  • Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 ECE units ( or enrolled)
  • Prior experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, or nannying roles is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in infant care
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior management strategies
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to nurture children’s curiosity while maintaining a safe environment
  • Passion for early childhood education and caregiving with a proactive, energetic approach

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
