Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant

Overview

Join our early childhood education team as an Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant! In this role, you’ll help lead teachers to create a safe and engaging environment for infants and toddlers. This paid position is a chance to make a positive impact while building experience in early childhood education.

Duties

· Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on child development milestones

· Assist children with activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth

· Maintain a clean and safe classroom aligned with health standards

· Engage children through play, stories, music, and other activities

· Observe and document children’s progress and behaviors

· Help with diapering, feeding, nap times, and caregiving routines

· Collaborate with team members for effective classroom management

Requirements

· Experience with infants/toddlers in daycare, preschool, or babysitting preferred

· Understanding of child development and early education practices

· First aid/CPR certification required

· Clear background check and child maltreatment

· Experience with children with special needs is a plus

· Strong communication skills and ability to manage routines

· Commitment to supporting inclusive, diverse learning environments

· High school diploma or higher
