Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant

Responsibilities
Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans tailored to infants and toddlers’ developmental stages. Provide attentive care to children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting to ensure their comfort and safety. Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and exploration. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote sensory development, motor skills, and social interaction. Monitor children’s behavior and progress, communicating observations to lead teachers for individualized support plans. Help facilitate positive behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation and emotional regulation. Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and proper sanitation practices.

Skills
Some experience in daycare, preschool, or caregiving settings. Knowledge of early childhood education. Strong understanding of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers. Some experience working with young children ion best practices, including classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with children’s families. First aid certification and knowledge of emergency response procedures are highly desirable. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
