Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on infant and toddler development.
• Provide attentive care by feeding, diapering, and comforting young children to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Engage children through age-appropriate activities that promote sensory development, motor skills, and social interaction.
• Observe and document children’s progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform teaching strategies.
• Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote cooperation and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to health and safety policies, including first aid procedures when necessary.
• Opening/Closure cleaning and sanitation

Experience and Qualifications

• Must be 18+
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving setting.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to early childhood stages.
• Familiarity with classroom experience or childcare environments that support preschool or toddler-aged children.
• Training or certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is encouraged.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
