Overview
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant! Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on infant and toddler development.
- Provide attentive care by feeding, diapering, and comforting young children to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Engage children through age-appropriate activities that promote sensory development, motor skills, and social interaction.
- Observe and document children’s progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform teaching strategies.
- Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote cooperation and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to health and safety policies, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Opening/Closure cleaning and sanitation
Experience and Qualifications
- Must be 18+
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to early childhood stages.
- Familiarity with classroom experience or childcare environments that support preschool or toddler-aged children.
- Training or certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is encouraged.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members.
