Infant/Toddler Caregiver

We are a family owned and operated childcare center with high quality standards. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, reliable, consistent, fun and enthusiastic about working with young children. We are currently looking for an Infant/toddler caregiver to join our team of fun loving, creative and educated teachers!

Our full-time positions are 40 hours a week and include paid vacation, holidays, and health benefits. This is a great position for someone looking for a career in child development. We are a QRIS school and have opportunities for staff members to achieve their CDA (Child Development Associate certificate) as long as they meet the qualifications.

Pay rate is dependent on experience and education in the early childhood field. Qualified CDA candidates may earn a higher pay rate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in planning and implementing the daily program
• Assist in planning and preparing the classroom environment, and preparing needed materials and supplies
• Maintain professional attitude and demeanor
• Treat all families and children with dignity and respect
• Utilize positive language and redirection
• Diaper changing
• feeding
• engaging in play with the children
• cleaning/ organizing
• communicating with parents

A qualified candidate must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to young children, be punctual, consistent, timely, eager to work with young children, has a positive attitude, is a team player and be willing to fulfill the responsibilities in accordance with Caughlin Preschool's educational philosophy. As a toddler teacher, you will be an essential part of providing consistent, quality care both in a group and individualized setting for all children in the classroom.
