Job description -

Takes a leading role in the effective functioning of the Infection Control Team

• Assists the HICC in drawing up annual plans and policies for infection control.
• Ongoing contribution to the development and implementation of infection control policies and procedures, participation in audit, and monitoring tools related to infection control and infectious diseases.
• Supports Infection Prevention and Control Program as Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives under GM-Clinical Quality.
• To train all HCPs for Infection Control and Prevention policies.
• To supervise infection prevention and control procedures carried out in the hospital.
• To ensure availability of appropriate resources, facilities and equipments for infection prevention and control activities.
• To provide specialist nursing inputs in the identification, prevention, monitoring and control of HAI within the hospital.
• To carry out regular surveillance activities of all high-risk areas in the hospital.
• To identify and investigate an outbreak and data collecting for surveillance.
• To carry out surveillance of occupational hazard exposure.
• To carry out surveillance of Antibiotic use in wards and critical areas.
• To coordinate for isolation of an infected patient.
• To coordinate in provide information regarding notifiable diseases to medical record department for notifying government authorities.
• To supervise disinfection and sterilization procedures carried out in the hospital.
• To ensure all employees are vaccinated as per policy.
• To organize training and awareness program for all health care providers related to infection prevention and control practice.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
