Infection Control Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infection Control Nurse to oversee infection prevention measures and ensure the highest standard of hygiene and safety within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will help prevent the spread of infections, educate staff, and ensure full compliance with health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies.
• Conduct routine infection surveillance and environmental rounds.
• Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection control practices.
• Ensure compliance with local and international infection control standards.
• Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and analyze infection trends.
• Collaborate with all departments to enhance patient and staff safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse with valid license.
• Certification or experience in Infection Prevention & Control is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, observation, and analytical skills.
• Updated knowledge on infection control guidelines and healthcare regulations.
