Shift: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30

Location: Spokane, WA

Schedule:

✔ No weekends

✔ No holidays

✔ No on-call

✔ No floating between units

📌 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join the Infection Prevention team in Spokane, WA . This role requires strong acute care experience and the ability to support multiple high-acuity service lines. The ideal candidate brings expert knowledge in infection control practices, surveillance, and possesses strong advisory and rounding skills.

🔒 HARDSTOP Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3 years

License: Valid Washington (WA) CLS license at submission

Certification: CIC – CBIC Certification in Infection Control

Experience Required in ALL of the Following:

• Acute care hospital
• Surgery
• NICU
• Cardiac
• Critical Care
• Emergency Room (ER)

🧪 Accepted Backgrounds

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Microbiologist
• MPH (Master of Public Health)
• Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) – WA License Required

🧠 Skills & Tools Needed

• Infection prevention rounding & advisory capabilities
• Bugsy knowledge

• Epic charting (Required)
