THE DIVISION OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES in the Department of Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School (HMS), seeks BC/BE infectious diseases physician with specific training and experience caring for immunocompromised patients at the Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level for a full-time clinical position providing care to this population. This physician will serve as a clinician and educator at the BIDMC largely focused on our bone marrow transplant and hematologic malignancy program both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The Division of Infectious Diseases includes 30 full-time members with academic appointments at Harvard Medical School. The division has a strong basic and clinical research mission, provides superb teaching to students, residents and fellows, and provides outstanding clinical care for both general ID and immunocompromised patients.
Dana Farber Cancer Institute
The department will be engaged in the newly announced and exciting clinical collaboration between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, BIDMC, and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) to establish New England’s only free-standing adult inpatient cancer hospital. The collaboration will bring together world-class clinicians to deliver transformational, precision medicine in an environment solely dedicated to defying cancer.
