Our client is looking for an Influence and Creator Specialist to join their team on a 3-4-month contract (with the potential to extend). This person will ideally work on a flexible/hybrid schedule in Chicago, 25 hours per week.
The Influencer and Creator Specialist will support the execution of social influencer and creator marketing campaigns across multiple consumer facing brands. This role works closely with influencer and social media teams to help bring culturally relevant, creator led campaigns to life across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
The ideal candidate brings hands on experience at the
associate or specialist level
, with particular strength in
TikTok Shop affiliate campaigns
, and is comfortable supporting campaigns from early planning through execution, reporting, and optimization. This role is best suited for someone who is detail oriented, highly organized, and eager to grow within influencer marketing.
Key Responsibilities

Review and evaluate influencer and creator lists for potential partnerships and campaign participation

Assess influencer content prior to posting to ensure brand and platform alignment

Support influencer managers with end to end campaign execution, including:

Creator selection

Brief development
-
Concept reviews
-
Content approvals

Support TikTok Shop initiatives, including the execution and optimization of affiliate led campaigns

Conduct influencer risk assessments and ensure required processes are followed

Collect and input campaign reporting data into tools such as Sprout Social

Analyze performance data and insights to recommend creators, content themes, and optimizations
-
Utilize social listening tools to conduct audits, develop reports, and monitor live campaigns

Apply best practices for paid media amplification of influencer content
-
Assist in the continued development of the influencer playbook and operating processes

Support measurement and analysis of influencer marketing effectiveness

Conduct competitive, cultural, and category research to surface strategic opportunities
-
Participate in influencer and creator education and training initiatives
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
-
Minimum of
2 years of influencer marketing experience
(beyond internship level)

Hands on experience with
TikTok Shop
, including managing or supporting affiliate campaigns (required)

Experience working with
Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
platforms
-
Familiarity with brand and agency marketing environments;
agency experience strongly preferred

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams

Comfort working with performance data, reporting tools, and social analytics platforms

CPG experience is a plus, but not required
