About the Program (IHT 2.0)

This role supports Veterans Health Administration (VHA) initiatives under the Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) 2.0 contract vehicle. Work is task-order driven; start date and workload depend on task order award and customer need.

Role Summary

Lead PMO governance and Agile transformation activities for healthcare, health IT, or clinical informatics programs. Own integrated planning, PI planning support, dependency management, executive reporting, delivery governance, and operating cadence across multiple workstreams in a regulated healthcare environment.

Core Responsibilities

- Lead PMO governance, execution tracking, RAID management, milestone reporting, and executive briefings

- Drive Agile transformation activities (PI planning, backlog governance, cross-team dependency management, ART-level coordination)

- Translate strategic priorities into executable roadmaps, work plans, and measurable delivery outcomes

- Support organizational change and adoption tied to informatics process improvement and delivery modernization

- Partner with clinical, business, technical, and operations stakeholders to remove blockers and improve flow

Must-Haves

- 10–15+ years in PMO, program delivery, Agile transformation, or enterprise portfolio leadership

- 5+ years supporting healthcare, health IT, clinical operations, EHR, interoperability, or clinical informatics initiatives

- Strong experience with SAFe, Scrum, Lean, or scaled delivery models

- Demonstrated success with PI planning, executive reporting, risk management, and cross-functional coordination

- Ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders

Preferred

- SAFe SPC or SPCT, PMP, PMI-ACP, or RTE

- VA/DoD/HHS or large payer/provider transformation experience
