Responsibilities:
Our newest opportunity is for a talented , Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Manager to join our award winning team in Riyadh, Saudi

We are seeking an experienced Site ICT Project Manager to lead, coordinate, and deliver all ICT and communications systems required for a major construction mega-project in Saudi Arabia. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with project management leadership, ensuring that all site facilities, project teams, and construction operations are fully supported by reliable, secure, and modern ICT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is a site-focused ICT expert with strong experience implementing technology solutions in remote, fast-paced construction environments.

We envisage success in this role to include;

ICT Project Planning & Delivery

  • Plan, manage, and execute the roll-out of all ICT and communications systems across site offices, compounds, staging areas, and field locations.
  • Coordinate ICT mobilisation for new site facilities, including network setup, structured cabling, servers, Wi-Fi, and telephony.
  • Develop detailed ICT implementation plans, schedules, risk assessments, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure all works comply with project specifications, global ICT standards, and local regulations.

Site ICT Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee installation, configuration, and testing of network equipment, firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless systems.
  • Manage site connectivity, including WAN/LAN, temporary networks, remote connectivity, and contractor ICT integration.
  • Supervise structured cabling, data racks, server rooms, and field network distribution.
  • Ensure high uptime and performance of critical ICT systems supporting construction activities.

Stakeholder Coordination & Contractor Oversight

  • Act as the primary ICT focal point at site for construction teams, engineering staff, PMO, and subcontractors.
  • Manage ICT contractors and vendors, ensuring quality delivery, adherence to standards, and timely completion of work.
  • Review and approve ICT method statements, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
  • Coordinate with project controls, HSE, logistics, and site operations to align ICT works with project activities.

Technical Leadership & Support

  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution for complex network, server, and systems issues.
  • Ensure smooth operation of IP telephony, video conferencing, field mobility solutions, and site communication platforms.
  • Support integration of project digital tools such as BIM stations, field tablets, CDE platforms, and site monitoring systems.
  • Lead and coach junior ICT staff and technicians working at site.

Cybersecurity, Governance & Quality Control

  • Implement site-level cybersecurity measures including endpoint protection, access controls, and secure configurations.
  • Conduct site audits on ICT installations, compliance checks, and documentation reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records of network diagrams, asset registers, configurations, and change logs.
  • Ensure secure, reliable data environments for engineering and construction work-flows.

Site Operations Support

  • Lead incident response, escalation management, and rapid recovery of ICT systems during outages.
  • Ensure stable communications across all site clusters, including remote work fronts and mobile construction units.
  • Monitor system performance, generate reports, and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related discipline (Master’s preferred)..
  • 8/10 years of progressive ICT experience, including significant site-based roles within construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, or mega project environments.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with:
    • Network administration (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.)
    • Structured cabling & fibre optic installations
    • Server room/data room setup
    • IP telephony & unified communications
    • Field wireless and remote connectivity
  • Strong project management capability (PMP/Prince2 certification preferred).
  • Technical certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, MCSE, or ITIL are highly desirable.
  • Experience working within KSA or the GCC on large-scale site projects is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multicultural site teams.
