Description of Work
The Communications Officer position (located in Castle Hayne, NC) will serve as the main communications officer, writer, media relations coordinator, marketer, photographer, videographer and spokesperson for the state’s transportation Highway Divisions 2 and 3. This position involves planning, developing, executing and evaluating communication strategies and plans that promote the department and its programs to both internal and external audiences. This employee reports directly to the Assistant Director of Communications.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC13 $ 48,222 – $ 84,388
