Information Security Administrator (Temporary)

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Security Analyst to join our team in Herndon, VA.

This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of badge requests, from initial intake through timely processing, documentation, and fulfillment.

  • Maintain accurate and secure facility access by creating, modifying, and terminating records within the access control system.

  • Develop and manage badge templates to ensure brand consistency and adherence to security protocols.

  • Oversee in-person badge scheduling and onsite printing.

  • Conduct routine database maintenance, including database cleanups and security audits, to ensure system integrity and compliance with organizational standards and security policies.

  • Performing fingerprinting and citizenship verifications.

  • Manage the security mailbox, professionally triaging and resolving all inquiries and requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Personnel Security (PERSEC) or a comparable administrative role with a strong focus on compliance.

  • Skilled in using security and HR systems, including DISS, SIMS, CCure, ServiceNow, and Workday.

  • Competence in Google Workspace tools, with an emphasis on developing solutions using Google App Scripts (JavaScript) and managing Google Sites.

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively, including briefing senior staff and collaborating with managers to ensure proper documentation and justification is provided.

  • Ability to conduct thorough and precise weekly audits, identifying even minor discrepancies within large datasets.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
