This position is not a software development role. The position focuses on platform stability, configuration, integration support, operational stability, risk reduction, and day-to-day operational health of APS, while software development responsibilities remain with dedicated software engineers.

The role is critical to maintaining system reliability, supporting audit and regulatory commitments, and reducing operational risk caused by single-resource dependencies within the APS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Operations & Stability

  • Provide day-to-day technical and operational support for the Automated Password Reset (APS) application built on the Bravura Password Manager platform.

  • Ensure platform stability, availability, and performance across all environments (DEV, QA, and PROD).

  • Perform routine health checks, environment validation, and operational monitoring to proactively identify and mitigate risks.

Configuration & Integration Support

  • Support configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of APS integrations with enterprise credential systems, including:

    • Active Directory

    • Oracle databases

    • Mainframe platforms

    • Non‑AD and legacy authentication systems

  • Support access provisioning, entitlement management, and password lifecycle workflows across integrated systems.

Incident Management & Risk Reduction

  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for APS‑related production incidents.

  • Assist in identifying and reducing operational risk, including mitigation of single-resource dependencies within the platform.

  • Support audit, compliance, and regulatory commitments by ensuring operational controls and evidence readiness.

Platform Lifecycle & Maintenance

  • Support platform upgrades, vendor patches, and hotfixes, including pre‑upgrade preparation and post‑upgrade stabilization.

  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams during maintenance windows and remediation efforts.

  • Validate system functionality post‑changes to ensure no regression or integration failures.

Collaboration & Delivery Support

  • Work closely with software engineers, IAM architects, service owners, and operations teams to ensure smooth handoffs between development and operations.

  • Act as a platform subject matter expert (SME) during Agile ceremonies, including stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Provide operational input into design and deployment decisions to improve long‑term reliability.

Documentation & Operational Readiness

  • Create and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, support documentation, and knowledge articles.

  • Contribute to operational readiness artifacts for new features, enhancements, and production releases.

  • Support knowledge transfer to reduce reliance on single individuals.

Key Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Hands‑on experience providing production operational support for enterprise platforms or IAM solutions.

  • Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, particularly:

    • Password management

    • Mainframe or legacy authentication systems

  • Familiarity with vendor-managed platforms (such as Bravura or similar PAM/IAM tools) in a non‑development capacity.

Operational & Troubleshooting Skills

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across multiple systems and integrations.

  • Experience with incident management processes, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.

  • Strong understanding of change, release, and environment management best practices.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, architecture, security, and operations.

  • Comfortable acting as a bridge between development and operational teams.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document technical processes clearly.

  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile/ITIL environments.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on platform stability and risk reduction.

  • Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence and reliability.

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have

  • Experience with Bravura Password Manager or similar PAM/password management platforms.

  • Exposure to regulatory, audit, or compliance-driven environments.

  • Experience supporting high‑availability or business‑critical systems.
