Information Security Officer

We are seeking an ISO to join our client's team! An Information Security Officer (ISO) protects an organization’s data and IT infrastructure from cyber threats by developing security policies, monitoring networks, and conducting risk assessments. They implement protective measures like firewalls, manage incident responses, and ensure compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Security Strategy: Creating, updating, and enforcing company-wide information security policies and procedures.
  • Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks through vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Incident Response:
  • Leading the response to security breaches, viruses, and malware incidents.
  • Monitoring & Protection: Overseeing security operations, including firewall management, intrusion detection, and data encryption.
  • Compliance: Ensuring IT systems adhere to legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Training: Educating employees on security best practices, such as phishing awareness and password management.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
  • Professional certifications like CISSP, CISM, or Security+ a plus.
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify vulnerabilities
  • Communication skills to explain technical risks to non-technical staff.
