Information Systems Analyst

Successful candidate will require specific skills pertaining to:
- SQL and data manipulation and extraction
- SQL Server Management Studio
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Access or FileMaker Pro preferred
- Report writing experience preferred
- Survey creation for analytic purposes preferred
- Google Apps for Education experience preferred
- Help desk experience preferred
- Experience with educational institution preferred
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provides Level 3 Support district-wide for troubleshooting issues of students, teachers, administrative and support staff, and district-approved external services staff with district information systems, this includes but not limited to student information systems, financial and human resources information systems, safety systems, etc.
- Interfaces with fellow applications and systems team members to complete data quality reviews and updates as necessary.
- Creates instructional materials and delivers training related to use of district information systems.
- Assists in troubleshooting parent/guardian issues with parent portals of district information systems.
- Assists in conducting data uploads/downloads to/from internal and external information systems.
- Responsible for producing report cards and other student-specific documents for distributions.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining ad hoc reports using information systems' report writers and managing the report folder hierarchy.
- Sets up, maintains, monitors, and schedules SQL maintenance plans and restore databases as necessary.
- Assists in the set up and maintenance of user accounts and roles for certain district information systems, e.g. learning management system and special education system.
- Assists in configuring data integration between information systems and applications using files, scripting, and querying.
- Assists with system implementation and data conversion as necessary.
Computer skills include but are not limited to:
- proficiency using SQL, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access at an intermediate skill level
- proficiency using Google Docs, Forms, and Sheets at an intermediate skill level
- ability to learn technical hardware and software terms

Salary Per Year: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00
