The Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DCR) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Information Systems Manager 1. This critical leadership position oversees a technical team responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of DCR’s entire IT infrastructure and systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and overseeing the division's 39 site network infrastructure (including switches, cabling, surveillance equipment, livescan, time clocks and fingerprint devices) and IT systems (computers, laptops, servers, and storage devices).
- Overseeing networking architecture, which involves site surveys, designing internal and external camera layouts, and submitting drawings for approval.
- Maintaining and managing IP addressing, reservations, and port configurations to ensure compatibility and support for all technological components and overseeing telecommunication requests.
- Managing the large-scale procurement, distribution, and licensing of hardware and software.
- Serving as a liaison between the DCR and external vendors and support personnel.
This position is located at the DCR Central Office, reports directly to the IT Director, and performs related duties as assigned.

Training: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
Substitution: Additional experience as described below may substitute for the above training on a year-for-year basis.
Experience: Three years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in computer programming, office automation planning, purchasing and implementation of hardware and software, teleprocessing, system analysis, or supervision of computer operations.
Substitution: A major in computer science may substitute for one year of required experience.
