Position Summary

The ISSM serves as the Wing’s senior cybersecurity lead for classified networks and systems supporting advanced programs, ensuring compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community cybersecurity requirements.

Essential Functions

• Serve as the Wing’s Information Assurance Officer (IAO) for Advanced Programs.
• Oversee cybersecurity for classified LAN/WAN systems and special access AIS.
• Manage system accreditation, audits, documentation, and compliance.
• Conduct initial isolation and containment of cybersecurity incidents.
• Provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and network configurations.
• Administer user accounts, passwords, firewalls, and access controls.
• Support TEMPEST, eavesdropping countermeasures, and technical security requirements.
• Deliver IA training, user orientation, and recurring cybersecurity awareness programs.
• Track system lifecycle, maintenance needs, and budget impacts.
• Maintain trouble-resolution databases and support system troubleshooting.
• Coordinate cybersecurity requirements with Wing Program Managers, MAJCOM, and national-level offices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with SAP eligibility.
• Bachelors in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Must have CompTIA Security+.
• 5 years of cybersecurity or information assurance experience.
• IAM-III certification (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, etc.).
• Experience managing cybersecurity for classified systems.
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
