Job Summary

The Information Technology Auditor for Data Analytics is responsible for evaluating software and business requirements, leveraging data analytics tools and technologies to ensure data quality and compliance. This role supports audit activities by analyzing data, building dashboards, and developing innovative solutions to meet business and regulatory needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze software and business requirements to identify audit risks.
  • Utilize data analytics tools such as SAS, IDEA, SPSS, and others for data exploration and cleansing.
  • Write Python scripts for data analysis, cleansing, and AI model building.
  • Develop and maintain AI models using Python, SAS, or similar tools.
  • Transform, extract, and manage data to support audit and business objectives.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality and integrity of data used in audits.
  • Build interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize data insights.
  • Apply technology effectively to address business requirements and audit objectives.
  • Innovate and propose new solutions to enhance audit processes and data analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate with audit and IT teams to support compliance and risk management activities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related IT field.
  • 0 to 7 years of data analytics experience, preferably within audit firms or the banking sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability to learn new technologies and comply with evolving regulations.
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools such as SAS, IDEA, SPSS.
  • Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and AI modeling.
  • Experience building dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Understanding of data transformation and quality monitoring techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • Professional audit certifications preferred (e.g., CISA, COBIT, ISO, Cybersecurity certifications like CISSP or other relevant ISACA certifications).
