Role Summary

The IT Communication Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that highlight IT project achievements, milestones, and successes. This role requires a blend of technical understanding and creative storytelling to ensure that communications—whether via email, presentations, or internal campaigns—are clear, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

📧 Email Communications

- Draft and distribute high-impact emails that celebrate IT project achievements, team successes, and strategic milestones.

- Collaborate with project managers and delivery leads to gather accurate and timely updates.

- Ensure messaging is tailored for diverse audiences including executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

📊 Presentation Development

- Create visually compelling presentations that showcase project milestones, KPIs, and success stories.

- Translate technical content into digestible formats for non-technical audiences.

- Support leadership in preparing decks for town halls, client briefings, and internal reviews.

🧩 Strategic Communication Planning

- Develop communication plans for major IT initiatives, including product launches, infrastructure upgrades, and transformation programs.

- Align messaging with corporate branding and tone guidelines.

- Coordinate with marketing and change management teams to amplify impact.

🧠 Content Strategy & Storytelling

- Identify and curate success stories from IT teams to build a narrative of innovation and excellence.

- Maintain a repository of reusable content templates and visual assets.

- Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and style across all IT communications.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, IT, Public Relations, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in IT communications, technical writing, or program management.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint), collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint), and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator).

- Strong understanding of IT project lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and digital transformation concepts.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working in a global IT services or consulting environment.

- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira.

- Ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
