Information Technology (Data and AI) Intern

Milacron is looking for an Information Technology Intern to join our team in Batavia, OH. The Information Technology Intern will support data-driven initiatives that enable business needs and outcomes across the organization. This internship provides exposure to how data is prepared, analyzed, and applied to real business problems within an IT and manufacturing-focused environment. The intern will work with IT, data, and business stakeholders to translate data into insights that support decision-making in areas such as operations, sales, and supply chain.
Work You’ll Do

• Prepare and process data to support business needs and desired outcomes
• Support projects involving data engineering, business analysis, pricing optimization, and sales automation
• Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities aligned to business objectives
• Document findings, logic, and assumptions in a clear and structured manner
• Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, data teams, and business users

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (second or third year preferred) in Business (Data), Computer Science, or Data Science
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to understand business context behind data
• Ability to ask thoughtful questions and translate business needs into data-related tasks
• Interest in manufacturing, operations, sales, or supply chain analytics
• Comfortable explaining data insights to non-technical audiences
• Ability to document work and explain analytical logic
• Strong learning mindset with curiosity around modern data and AI tools
• Ethical mindset regarding data privacy, security, and responsible AI use
