In this position, you will deliver extensive IT support to employees in the Departments of Human Services, Health, Drug and Alcohol Programs, and Aging. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical problems, installing and setting up hardware and software, supporting various operating systems and enterprise applications, and ensuring secure and reliable access to Commonwealth networks.
Additionally, you will manage user accounts, oversee device security, assist with mobile and desktop technologies, and provide support for telephony systems, printers, and network equipment. Beyond daily technical assistance, you will analyze incident trends, test new devices and applications, create documentation, and offer user training. You will also ensure compliance with Commonwealth IT policies, suggest enhancements to services and security practices, and identify equipment that requires repair or replacement.
