Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist

We’re seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist to support and secure our on‑premises and cloud environments. This role is responsible for network security, Azure cloud governance, Windows Server administration, and the physical infrastructure layer. The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and facilities teams.

Key Responsibilities

Network & Security

• Design, implement, and monitor secure network architectures.
• Configure and manage enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Enforce Zero Trust security principles.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and lead remediation efforts.
• Operate and optimize SIEM and endpoint security platforms (QRadar, SentinelOne).
• Perform incident detection, analysis, and response; maintain security operations procedures.

Azure Cloud Security (Top Priority)

• Manage Azure security controls, policies, and compliance.
• Monitor and secure cloud workloads and resources.
• Administer Azure AD and Azure Security Center.
• Azure experience is required; AWS alone is not sufficient.

Windows Server & Infrastructure

• Administer Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
• Support DFS, printer management, patching, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and data integrity.

Physical Infrastructure

• Support hyperconverged systems (Nutanix, VMware vSAN).
• Maintain cabling, racks, hardware installation, and physical connectivity.
• Ensure stable performance across all infrastructure layers.

Audio/Visual Support (Nice to Have)

• Deploy and support AV systems (Crestron, Extron, Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms).
• Provide troubleshooting and user support as needed.
• Note: Primary AV responsibilities are handled by another team.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, incidents, and remediation activities.
• Produce reports for compliance and leadership review.
• Partner closely with IT application support, cybersecurity, and facilities teams to ensure cohesive operations and rapid issue resolution.

Technical Skills

• Firewall platforms: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA
• Zero Trust frameworks
• SIEM: QRadar, SentinelOne
• Azure AD, Azure Security Center
• Windows Server (2016–2022), DFS, printer management
• Hyperconverged infrastructure: Nutanix, VMware vSAN
• AV technologies: Crestron, Extron, Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms
• Network cabling and physical infrastructure best practices

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Azure Security Engineer Associate, MCSE, or similar.
• 5+ years in network security with hands‑on firewall experience.
• 3+ years in Azure cloud security administration.
• 5+ years of Windows Server maintenance, including DFS and printer management.
• Experience supporting hyperconverged systems, cabling, and hardware installation.
