IT Intern

Washington, DC (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are looking for a full time, IT Intern to start with us this summer. The ideal candidate is someone who is a graduating senior or has 1-2 years of experience with an IT-related four-year degree. $20-25/ hour depending on experience and 30-40 hours per week. Candidate must be able to commute a few times a week to our Downtown DC office (Wharf).

Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance to OTJ team members on hardware, software, and basic network issues
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues
Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance
Provide training and support to team members on the use of computer systems and software
Research and recommend solutions for technical problems

Qualifications:

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts
Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, or similar enterprise tools preferred
Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong willingness to learn new technology
