We are looking for a "IT Assistant" for the Intertek Turkey office Information Technology team

  • Preferably 1–2 years of experience in system support, hardware, and equipment maintenance
  • Preferably knowledgeable about TCP/IP, basic networks, and server hardware
  • Able to provide technical documentation support in team projects
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems and MS Office applications
  • Experienced in installing IT equipment such as computers, printers, and projectors
  • Willing to take on tasks in ITIL processes (request, incident, problem, change) or provide user support
  • Able to read English documents and communicate technically in English when necessary
  • Team player, strong communicator, analytical thinker, and solution-oriented
  • Inquisitive, eager to learn, and open to development.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Identifying, planning, and implementing the IT needs of business units in coordination with Global IT, and monitoring and following up on them
  • Providing on-site or remote support to users, analyzing problems and creating appropriate solutions
  • Respond to technical support requests from users regarding programs, computers, printers, telephones, and other peripherals, resolving issues with support from suppliers/manufacturers when necessary
  • Install necessary software on technological products provided to new employees, create user profiles, and arrange necessary authorizations
  • Operate IT inventory management and purchasing processes, perform maintenance and license tracking
  • Keep service and fault records, create service appointments when necessary
  • Participate in the renovation project of system rooms and cabinets
  • Act in accordance with the Information Security Policy and Information Security procedures, take necessary actions, and follow up
  • Take action based on the findings and reports of Internal and External Audit units.
