Position Title: Information Technology Manager

Reports to: Shared Services Director




Role Description

The position manages and administers Information Technology hardware, software, and infrastructure within the Academy by providing adequate IT resources, developing guiding IT policies and procedures, managing vendors and managed services, and ensuring the integrity, security, and continuity of IT assets in compliance with data protection and cybersecurity regulations. The role also leads key digital initiatives, including the redevelopment of the Academy’s website and the establishment of a Learning Management System (LMS) to support digital transformation and e-learning objectives.


Role Accountabilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain IT systems and technologies to ensure service stability and operational continuity within the Academy.
  • Manage and administer the IT infrastructure, including networks and servers, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
  • Lead and manage diverse project teams, including post-delivery support teams and ongoing or new project teams, according to each project’s scope and support requirements.
  • Oversee daily IT support operations, ensuring service quality, timely issue resolution, and user satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs), and promote user awareness and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards, managing access controls, backups, and system recoveries.
  • Oversee licensing and compliance of hardware, software, and mobile applications in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, suppliers, and managed service providers to ensure service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor and control IT assets and password management, ensuring safe and sustainable asset disposal.
  • Integrate IT systems with the Academy’s ERP solutions to enhance data consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare, track, and control the annual IT operations budget.
  • Supervise the development, management, and continuous improvement of the Academy’s website.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of the TMIS and E-Learning systems in alignment with the Academy’s educational objectives.
  • Provide technical and advisory support to departments to drive operational efficiency and digital transformation.



Qualifications

  • Bachelors (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in IT Services Delivery, 4 of which in managerial level.
  • Qualification and/or accreditation in IT, cybersecurity and service delivery (e.g. MSCE, CCNA).
