Information Technology Manager

The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, securing, and managing the complete IT ecosystem for Wadan Developments and ALC , with a strong emphasis on supporting construction project delivery, procurement systems, and operational technology.

This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight, ensuring that technology systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with corporate objectives particularly in the areas of project execution, procurement, and contractor coordination.


Key Responsibilities

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute an IT strategy that aligns with construction project timelines, procurement cycles, and business goals .
  • Advise senior management on technology decisions that impact projects, costs, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the IT team, manage external vendors, and align services with project and business priorities.
  • Control IT budgets, licensing, and contracts to support project needs.


2. Enterprise Applications for Project & Procurement

  • Oracle Fusion Administration
  • Administer Oracle Fusion ERP, with focus on Finance, Procurement, and Project Costing modules .
  • Manage users, roles, workflows, integrations, and reporting that support construction project financials and purchasing.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Oversee Marketing Cloud setup where it supports client and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure data governance and compliance while integrating with project systems.


3. Contact Center & Field Operations Systems

  • Administer and configure Genesys Cloud / Contact Center systems to support stakeholder engagement, contractor communication, and helpdesk operations.
  • Implement call routing, reporting, and CRM integrations tailored to project stakeholder needs.


4. Microsoft 365 & Communication Platforms

  • Administer Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive to support cross-functional collaboration within project and office teams.
  • Implement email security, data loss prevention (DLP), and access controls.


5. Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Define and enforce cybersecurity policies across sites and offices.
  • Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), endpoint security, and incident response in line with construction risk profiles.


6. Infrastructure, Cloud & Network

  • Manage hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure that supports project offices and remote sites.
  • Oversee networks, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity essential for project coordination and reporting.


7. Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

  • Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies that protect operational and project-critical data.
  • Regularly test continuity plans to ensure resilience in the event of outages, site disruptions, or cyber incidents.


8. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Support IT procurement processes for hardware, software, and services required for project delivery and site teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships and service levels in coordination with procurement teams and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements across technology purchases and contracts.


9. Project Support & Enterprise Architecture

  • Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to integrate systems that support project scheduling, cost tracking, resource planning, and reporting .
  • Prepare visuals (mind maps, architecture diagrams) showing system relationships and integration flows.
  • Present IT roadmaps, timelines, and strategies to senior leadership, converting technical concepts into business outcomes.


Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Oracle Fusion ERP (Finance, Procurement, Project Costing modules)
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar CRM platforms
  • Genesys Cloud / Contact Center systems
  • Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online administration
  • Cybersecurity & risk management frameworks
  • Cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
  • Experience with technology systems that support construction project lifecycle and procurement workflows

Project & Domain Skills

  • Understanding of project delivery systems , construction workflows, and procurement processes.
  • Experience coordinating IT initiatives with project controls, procurement, and operational teams .

Soft Skills

  • Strong strategic communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to visualize complex ecosystems and translate them into actionable plans
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems across technical and operational domains
