Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will engage in the ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve addressing technical issues, providing solutions, and ensuring the smooth operation of various platforms. You will work both remotely and onsite, collaborating with team members to implement technology at the operating system level across server and network areas. Your role will also include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring that all configured services operate effectively within defined processes. Roles & Responsibilities: -Oversee the entire lifecycle of desktop computing infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems and peripherals. -Ensure all desktop systems are standardized, optimized, and aligned with the company’s IT policies and requirements, leveraging SCCM for system deployments and updates. -Provide support for end-user desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. -Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems and a wide range of software applications. -Good analytical skills to assess the performance of desktop environments, identifying potential issues or inefficiencies and recommending improvements. -Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). Professional & Technical Skills: -Maintain standard operating environment (SOE) across all systems to ensure uniformity and security compliance. -Perform routine maintenance tasks like system updates, patch management and ensure to meet the compliance target. -Monitor system performance and proactively address issues. -Maintain asset inventory of hardware and software licenses. -Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN issues, Wi-Fi connectivity problems, and VPN access. -Coordinate with the other teams and lead the advanced troubleshooting and resolution for desktop issues -Maintain documentation for technical procedures, configurations, and knowledge base articles. -Generate reports on recurring issues, system performance, and support trends. -Ensure endpoint protection and encryption tools are active and updated Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Management. - A 15 years full time education is required.
