Job Purpose:
To manage, secure, and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring robust network performance, system reliability, and alignment with best practices in cybersecurity and operations. This role includes managing hardware and software, enhancing security postures, and supporting continuous improvement of IT systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Maintenance & Administration

Manage and maintain core infrastructure components, including servers, firewalls, switches, access points, and structured cabling, to ensure high availability and security.

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network devices (e.g., VLANs, STP, static and dynamic routing using OSPF/BGP).

Administer and optimize wireless infrastructure, including controller-based access points
-
Manage and implement firewall policies, NAT, VPNs (site-to-site and remote access), and access rules (e.g., using FortiGate).

Enforce network segmentation, failover configuration, and bandwidth management aligned with business needs and security standards.

Ensure endpoint visibility and access control using NAC tools.

Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for WAN connectivity, MPLS links, and SD-WAN environments.

Maintain up-to-date configurations and change logs for all network and infrastructure components.

System & Application Design

Design, implement, and maintain core systems that support business applications, security tools, email, and web services.

Oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions and ensure compliance with business continuity plans.

Technology Advancement & Optimization

Lead modernization initiatives such as virtualization (e.g., VMware), hybrid cloud integration, and Azure services deployment (e.g., Azure AD, virtual networks).

Implement automation and orchestration to enhance system reliability, reduce manual tasks, and improve response time.

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of IT infrastructure.

Drive capacity planning, high availability, and redundancy strategies to support business continuity and future growth.

Deploy infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, ManageEngine) for real-time visibility, proactive maintenance, and performance tuning.

Network Support & Documentation

Provide second-level support for escalated infrastructure, connectivity, and performance issues.

Troubleshoot complex network incidents involving firewalls, switching, wireless, and routing components.

Collaborate with vendors and ISPs to resolve WAN, MPLS, and SD-WAN-related issues efficiently.

Maintain up-to-date documentation for network topology, configurations, IP schemas, and system dependencies.

Ensure all changes are tracked through proper change management and aligned with IT governance practices.
Qualifications:

Certifications: Azure, CCNA, CCNP, or NSE4 (required).

5-7 years of hands-on experience in network and infrastructure support.

Strong knowledge in Cisco, HPE Networking, VMware, Fortinet, Azure networking, and structured cabling.
-
Familiarity with network security best practices, firewall configuration, and monitoring tools.
