About the job:
As an Infrastructure and Quality Digital Analyst, you will be part of the Opella Digital Manufacturing and Supply North America organization. Our team supports manufacturing and supply operations in Chattanooga and partners with global colleagues in the Opella M&S and Digital organizations.
We focus on enabling and maintaining digital solutions that support infrastructure, compliance, and operational excellence. This includes a diverse portfolio of applications and systems that must be effectively integrated with business functions and external partners to ensure efficient and secure logistics and manufacturing operations.
In this role, you will contribute to the support of infrastructure and applications related to Chromatography systems (e.g., Agilent Open Lab), Stability systems (e.g., Novatek), and various laboratory and manufacturing instruments. You’ll gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
Main responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Application Support:
  • Assist in maintaining infrastructure for lab and manufacturing systems.
  • Support deployment and documentation of on-site infrastructure.
  • Help monitor system performance and contribute to troubleshooting efforts.
Cybersecurity & Compliance:
  • Learn and apply basic cybersecurity practices to protect systems.
  • Support patching and updates for devices and applications.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CFR Part 11, GxP).
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work with cross-functional teams including automation, cybersecurity, and quality.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
  • Serve as a liaison between site teams and global support functions.
Special Projects
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure efficiency, digital integration, and system reliability.
  • Support pilot programs and proof-of-concept deployments for new technologies or process improvements.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing for lessons learned and best practices.
Operational Support:
  • Help manage peripherals such as tablets, printers, and scan guns.
  • Support imaging and setup of non-standard desktops and laptops.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of GxP-compliant systems.
About you
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma Reqired
  • CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or similar certifications.
  • Internship or hands-on lab experience in a network or systems support role.
  • More than 2 years of relevant experience, on Infrastructure build project and operation, preferably in healthcare/ pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience on computerized systems validation/ infrastructure validation/ laboratory or CFR Part 11, GxP / SCADA systems (IoT or IIOT solutions).
Soft skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Technical skills:
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and protocols (DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with Active Directory (user/group management, OU structure).
  • Exposure to cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., GxP, CFR Part 11).
  • Understanding of IT hardware including servers, desktops, and peripherals.
