The Infrastructure Architecture Manager is responsible for leading the design, governance, and evolution of secure, scalable, and cost-effective IT infrastructure aligned with the bank’s enterprise architecture and strategic objectives. This role ensures high availability, regulatory compliance, and modernization of infrastructure platforms across hybrid environments while driving innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities

Lead the design and governance of scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure architectures across compute, storage, network, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

Define and maintain infrastructure technology roadmaps aligned with business growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Drive modernization initiatives including automation, software-defined infrastructure, HCI, containerization, and hybrid multi-cloud adoption.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and banking regulations).

Architect hybrid solutions integrating on-premises platforms with public/private cloud environments (Azure, AWS).

Oversee disaster recovery, backup, replication, and business continuity strategies.

Review and approve infrastructure designs, standards, and technical policies.

Collaborate with infrastructure operations, security, application teams, risk, compliance, and project management stakeholders.

Evaluate and recommend infrastructure vendors, platforms, and technical solutions.

Manage infrastructure architecture budgets and ensure cost-effective investment planning.

Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure architects and engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

12+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years in systems/infrastructure architecture (preferably in banking or financial services).

Strong expertise in enterprise compute platforms (IBM Power, HPE Synergy) and storage technologies (SAN/NAS).

Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, AIX, and VMware ESXi environments.

Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale virtualized and HCI platforms (VMware vSAN, Nutanix).

Solid knowledge of container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

Experience with hybrid cloud architectures (Azure, AWS) and cloud integration strategies.

Strong understanding of backup, DR, high availability, and performance optimization.

Knowledge of infrastructure security principles and regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).

Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Relevant professional certifications such as VMware VCAP/VCIX, RHCE, HPE Master ASE, Nutanix NCP, or TOGAF preferred.
