Infrastructure Draftsman

Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Infrastructure Draftsman to join our team.

Key Expertise

• Road layout drafting (urban, rural, industrial)
• Infrastructure and utility drafting (water, sewage, drainage, street lighting, etc.)
• GIS-based mapping and analysis

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design and construction drawings for road and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with civil engineers and planners to develop efficient layouts.
• Integrate GIS data into infrastructure planning and design.
• Conduct site layout planning, grading, and utility coordination.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date drawing records and revisions.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software.
• Knowledge of Revit / Navisworks is an advantage.
• Experience with transportation/infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as an AutoCAD drafter.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with government and municipal infrastructure standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and topographic maps.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts.
• Certification in AutoCAD drafting or related certifications.
