Experience with infrastructure projects in Dubai, in dry utilities & street lightening
- Prepare Detailed Drawings: Create comprehensive 2D and 3D technical drawings, plans, and sections for all civil and infrastructure elements, including but not limited to:
Road horizontal and vertical alignment plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
Stormwater drainage, sewerage, and potable water network layouts.
Utility corridor plans for power, telecom, and irrigation.
Earthworks, grading, and paving plans.
Boundary wall and external site development details. - Generate Shop Drawings: Produce high-quality, construction-ready shop drawings from design drawings, incorporating all necessary site and construction details.
- Quantity Take-Off (QTO) Support: Assist the Quantity Surveying team by providing accurate measurements, detail drawings, and lists of materials required for tender and construction purposes.
- As-Built Documentation: Prepare and update "As-Built" drawings upon project completion based on site surveys and field markups.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Engineer Coordination: Collaborate closely with Civil Engineers and Project Managers to interpret design concepts, resolve technical conflicts, and incorporate all necessary specifications and calculations into the final drawings.
- Revisions & Updates: Manage and implement revisions, modifications, and red-line markups quickly and accurately as directed by the design team or in response to site conditions.
- Adherence to Standards: Ensure all drawings strictly comply with the project's technical specifications, drawing standards, and local authority requirements (e.g., DM, RTA, DEWA, etc.).
Document Control
- Maintain CAD Standards: Ensure all drafted documents adhere to the company's internal CAD standards, layering conventions, and plotting protocols.
- Drawing Management: Organize and maintain a clean and structured drawing archive, ensuring proper version control, logging, and retrieval of all drawing transmittals and submissions.
