Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to manage and evolve our hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. This role combines systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, networking, and security responsibilities, ensuring reliability, scalability, automation, and security across the entire technology stack. The ideal candidate will lead cloud provisioning, migration, and modernization initiatives while owning day-to-day operations, automation, monitoring, and security of both cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

Required Technical Qualifications:

• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Azure (compute, storage, networking, IAM), and/or Google Cloud (compute, storage, networking, IAM), Exchange Online, GoDaddy Hosting.
• On-Premises Systems: Proficient in managing physical and virtual servers, storage, and networked infrastructure.
• Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, or ESXi.
• Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL).
• Automation & IaC: Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Monitoring & Logging: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or ELK Stack.
• Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Backup & Recovery: Veeam, Azure Backup, or similar enterprise-grade tools.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years experience across cloud infrastructure, systems administration, networking, and security (hybrid environments).

Preferred Certifications:

• Cloud: Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ-400), Google Cloud Engineer or equivalent.
• Infrastructure: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), CompTIA Cloud+, or RHCSA.
